Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

usage of underground space is a part of the construction industry, both in rapidly evolving urban areas and in road construction. The essential change is that a few years ago solutions o this kind were often only pondered upon, while now they are considered indispensable – as they have such a positive impact on decreasing the social costs and on the growth of the local businesses. New construction projects cannot be avoided -and the increasing pace of technological change obliges us not only to promote new technologies but also to discuss them widely.

That is why this year’s conference is organized in a new formula that will allow all of the participants to set out their views and take part in the debate. Every session will be followed by a discussion panel involving session speakers, but we will encourage all of our Guests to take part in the discussion.

As the organisers of the regularly held conference “Underground Construction and Tunneling”, we used to invite our Guests to Cracow, yet now we would like to invite you to Polish capital – Warsaw. In this location, we will be able to present to you some aspects of metro construction directly on the construction site.

During the conference sessions, we will unveil the nuances of project execution in Poland and abroad and we will present the state-of-art technology as well as curiosities.
