Communication tunnels within national roads – plans and execution

In the last few years, the number of communication tunnels projects increased significantly. In the presentation it will be shown, how advanced are the construction works for each tunnel that is built on behalf of General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. Currently General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways operates one road tunnel within national express road S1; two other tunnels (within national express roads S7 and S2) are being built. There are also tenders for another four projects within national express roads S3, S1, S52 and for the tunnel that is to connect Uznam and Wolin islands (where  General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways holds the position of project supervisor). Another five projects that include building eight tunnels are being prepared.
