CONSTRUCTION OF OFFSHORE WIND FARMS

CONFERENCE REPORT

Ladies and Gentlemen!

The conference “CONSTRUCTION OF OFFSHORE WIND FARMS” is a new event, organised by Wydawnictwo Inżynieria (Engineering Publishing). For more than two decades, we have been creating conference projects where representatives from all sides of the investment process exchange their knowledge, whether in deliberations, debates or individual discussions behind the scenes.

The energy transition, the achievement of the planned climate-neutrality targets and the reduction of CO2 emissions will only become a reality if investments in renewable energy sources is significantly accelerated. An indispensable aspect of their implementation is good communication between the investor, the scientific world and the designer, contractor or supplier of technology and products. I firmly believe that our new project will become, like the others we have created so far, a platform for exchanging knowledge, discussing, learning lessons and implementing new and valuable realization ideas.

Importantly, the topic of energy is one of the important ones we have been covering on inzynieria.com for more than a decade.

During the cyclical conference project “CONSTRUCTION OF OFFSHORE WIND FARMS”, we will focus on the engineering nuances of implementing both the construction and connection of wind power plants, all with the support of recognised industry representatives. Our priority this year will be to talk about the technical feasibility of siting offshore wind farms and their connections, as well as realising the construction of installation and service ports.

I am convinced that, in a time of energy crisis, it is this branch of RES development that will be extremely important in ensuring our country’s energy independence and security.

You are cordially invited and I remain at your disposal should you wish to propose a topic to be discussed at the conference.
