Associated with the City of Krakow Waterworks for 21 years. In 2015, he became a member of the Company’s Board of Directors and then Vice Chairman. Since April 1, 2017, he has served as Chairman of the Board.
From 2013 to 2015, he was the Representative for Organization and Social Communication at Krakowski Holding Komunalny S.A., for the implementation of the eco-combustion plant project. In 2017, he became Vice Chairman of the Council of the Polish Waterworks Chamber of Commerce.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Management at the Cracow University of Economics and systematically supplements his knowledge at postgraduate studies. He graduated with an MBA in Public Management from the Cracow Business School of the Cracow University of Economics. He is qualified to sit on the Supervisory Boards.
He collaborates with the world of science, participates in scientific conferences and symposiums, and attends EBC’s international industry benchmarking workshops. In April 2019, Piotr Ziêtara became Chairman of the First University Council, and in December 2020 he was elected Chairman of the University Council for the 2021-2024 term. In May 2020, he was appointed by the Cracow City Council to the Social Councils of the city’s medical entities: Gabriel Narutowicz Municipal Specialized Hospital and Stefan Zeromski Specialized Hospital SPZOZ. He is a member of the Council of the Cracow Chamber of Industry and Commerce and belongs to the Society of Polish Economists.
