Dr. Stanislaw Mazur, professor and rector of the Cracow University of Economics, a political scientist by education and passion, dealing with issues of political power and its role in society.
He specializes in matters of public policy and administration and the management of these areas. He has been strongly involved in the development of public life in Krakow for many years, including President of the Foundation for Economy and Public Administration in Krakow (2007-2009), member of the Civil Service Council (2009-2015), initiator and member of the Better Krakow Association, which aims to develop new solutions for public policies in our city, Rector of the University of Economics in Krakow from 2020 to 2024. A culture enthusiast who regularly visits Cracow theaters and his favorite Mikro Cinema. A lover of literature often returning to the teachings of Tischner and the symbolic writings of Wyspianski. He rides a bicycle, plays badminton and loves spicy cuisine.
Among friends, he is considered an idealist.
