EU funding support for sustainable rainwater management systems and green-blue infrastructure

Graduate of Interdepartmental Environmental Studies at the UW and Project Management at the Warsaw School of Economics. Currently counsellor in the Department of European Funds at the Ministry of Climate and Environment. He has many years of experience as an expert at the Ministry of Climate and Environment in the implementation of ISPA, OPI&E projects (water and sewage, waste sector), as well as in the implementation and creation of climate policy in Poland and the preparation of legislative changes in the area of climate change adaptation. He also served as Head of Division in the Ministry of Climate and Environment dealing with climate change adaptation. He was responsible for the implementation of the project entitled ‘Development of climate change adaptation plans in cities over 100,000. inhabitants’ (MPA). He is currently involved in the programming of the Perspective 2021-2027 in the area of climate change adaptation and the environment, including sustainable rainwater management systems and green-blue infrastructure, as well as in the area of biodiversity (FEnIKS Programme, FEPW Programme). Author of ‘Guidebook for the preparation of investments taking into account climate change, mitigation and adaptation and disaster resilience’, Member of the Steering Committee of the NCBiR Programme ‘BIOSTRATEG’, the Steering Committee for aPZRP, the Committee of Experts on the LIFE Instrument at the EC, the UNECE Group of Experts on Climate Change Impact Assessment and Adaptation of Inland Transport, and the OECD Task Force on Climate Change Adaptation.
