Trenchless repair of traffic culverts on watercourses and stormwater drainage systems This presentation will show methods for trenchless repair of traffic culverts. The advantages of trenchless repairs without digging up streets, roads and other traffic routes will be shown. A video of the repair and construction of the largest road culvert measuring 3x4m using GRP pipe modules will be shown. Graduate of the Faculty of Sanitary and Water Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. A practitioner, he has been involved in the water and wastewater industry since the beginning of his career. In 1983, as an assistant designer in the Design Office of Zakłady Azotowe ‘Puławy’ in the installation workshop. In 1988, he obtained a design and execution licence, from 1991 to 1994 he worked in the United Arab Emirates in execution and supervision. Since 1996, he has worked for Finnish plastic pipe manufacturer Uponor. Initially, he was responsible for sales of infrastructure systems as a regional sales representative, then as business development manager. Since 2001, as manager of trenchless methods at Uponor, he has been responsible for the sales of trenchless sewer rehabilitation systems, including Flexoren™. Together with INFRA sp. z o.o., he launched the Omega Liner® and MaxiLine® systems in Poland.
Between 2007 and 2010, he was employed as business development manager at Insituform Polska – a leading manufacturer of sleeves for trenchless sewer rehabilitation. From 2012 to 2019, he worked as president and co-owner at the contractor MD Renova sp. z o.o. for trenchless rehabilitation of water and sewer lines, mainly by cracking, and repair of sewer manholes. As of 2019, he is employed at Blejkan S.A. as marketing director. He is a member of the Society of Consulting Engineers and Chartered Surveyors (SIDiR).
