Exhibition and Technology Demonstrations
TRENCHLESS ENGINEERING
CONFERENCE
It’s not just lectures and discussions. It is not just lectures and discussions. Thanks to the exhibition and demonstrations, participants will have a unique opportunity to get to know the latest technologies and products available on the market in one place: learn about their strengths and capabilities and see for themselves the effects of their operation. At the stands of manufacturing and contracting companies – located both in the conference building and in the area around it – everyone will be able to talk to their representatives and ask detailed questions. So that you don’t miss out on any opportunity to develop your business.
Rodeo HDD
A thrilling competition between the best drilling teams. The machines used in the competition will have to meet the following parameters: pulling force of no more than 160 kN; drill rods of no more than 3.05 m (10 ft) in length. The task will be for each team to drill a directional hole over a designated distance of 100 metres in a straight line, at least 3 metres below ground level.
Once the hole has been drilled, it will need to be refitted accordingly and HDPE 110 mm (SDR 11) pipeline will need to be installed.
Who will prove to be the best?
DRILLTRACK
Drilltrack of Jędrzejów provides Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) services.
Drilltrack offers services for drilling under roads, rivers, canals, railway lines and other hard-to-reach areas. It has HDD drill rigs that are equipped with specialised systems to precisely control the direction of drilling and minimise the impact on the surrounding area.
Drilling rig: AT-BORETEC MT11 ROCKDRILL
JAMAT
Construction contractor JAMAT of Brzezie specialises in trenchless construction, more specifically horizontal directional drilling. Founded in 2011, the family-owned company has grown steadily, gaining a reputation as a skilled and reliable contractor for the installation of energy, water, sewer and gas infrastructure projects. Currently, 17 skilled employees are carrying out pipe installation projects across the country.

CONFIRMED SHOWS:
Damian Sobczak
Demonstration of the mini jacking machine with the MMP-35 controlled head
During the demonstration, specialists will show the speed of the jacking machine, the possibility of changing the direction of the jacking or sinking, perform an automatic drilling profile for final documentation and a 2×110 mm double-pipe jacking of 20-30 m.
Tomasz Borowiak
Installation of Saertex’s styrene-free potable water transport sleeve using ProKASRO’s UV lamp technology
The topic of the demonstration will be the trenchless installation of a styrene-free CIPP sleeve based on vinylester resin using appropriately sized technology.
Piotr Kosz
Renovation of sewer systems using polymer concrete elements
The demonstration will show polymer concrete elements used in trenchless renovation of canals, round and rectangular concrete manholes and the crown of settling tank raceways. Issues concerning the technical parameters of polymer concrete, the method of joining the elements inside the canal or manhole and recommended epoxy adhesives and injection mortars will be discussed. The show will also include information on the current and future portfolio of vitrified clay drill pipes used in trenchless sewer network construction and rehabilitation.

Demonstration of the capabilities of Hovering Solutions’ autonomous flying robots for sewer network inspection
The demonstration will showcase the capabilities of Hovering Solutions’ drones performing sewer network inspections. The robots operate without remote control, radio communication, GPS/GNSS or lighting. The drones capture high-quality data, including 3D georeferenced point clouds, high-resolution panoramic images and a comprehensive damage report. This data facilitates a comprehensive assessment of tunnel condition, cross sections and tracking changes over time. Hovering Solutions provides a web-based 3D visualisation platform for easy access to the data and its analysis.

Measuring the tightness of gravity sewage systems using the air method in accordance with the PN 1610 standard
During the show, the process of measuring sewage tightness will be presented. The measurement will take place in accordance with the requirements of the PN 1610 standard and will be carried out using air. Proprietary equipment will be used to record the process.

Drilling mud recycling demonstration
During the demonstration, engineers from Heads sp. z o.o. will demonstrate drilling mud recycling technology using the example of the RU 300 system mobile mud purification unit. This unit has a purification capacity of 300 l/minute of mud for HDD technology. The purification test will take place under field conditions, the mud preparation materials used will be products from the Heads range.

GroundTEM – demonstration of non-invasive measurements using the Time-Domain Electromagnetic Method (TEM)
The measurement system consists of a transmitting and receiving system. Measurements are based on the induction of an electromagnetic field deep into the Earth using an induction loop. When electromagnetic waves encounter different geological layers, eddy currents are generated, which in turn cause a secondary electromagnetic field. The electrical conductivity of the soils and rocks studied is controlled by mineralogy, clay content, water content, salinity and porosity. These waves are then recorded at the surface using a receiver loop. From the resulting logs, the conductivity distribution of the geological medium can be calculated.
The TEM method helps to locate groundwater in particular, monitor the state of the aquifer, and distinguish between different geological deposits.
The demonstration will show how the measurement is carried out – from laying out the measurement system to obtaining the final result from a given measurement point.

Structural testing of sewer network facilities in practice. On site and in the laboratory
The following tests will be presented and discussed during the demonstration:
– pull-off (requirements of EN-PN 1542 for the reality of construction)
– GWT
– detection of reinforcement
– measuring the thickness of the surfacing, laminate, coating
– Schmidt hammer
When recognising the technical condition, both during ongoing inspection and during a more detailed assessment related to e.g. expert opinion or design, it is necessary to carry out tests on the structure and its working environment. Some tests are also later part of the acceptance tests after the renovation work has been carried out. Some of the tests are so simple that they can be carried out and the results obtained on site. What is important, however, is to what extent the field conditions influence the correctness of the pull-off test or Schmidt hammer number test, for example, and whether they comply with the requirements of the standards to which they refer. Some of the tests can only be carried out in the laboratory, e.g. testing the compressive strength of concrete or linings, assessment of sulphate contamination or verification of materials by infrared spectra. For these tests, it is crucial to take a representative sample on site.
During the show, the discussion of the above issues will be combined with a live demonstration of field tests, such as the pull-off test, Schmidt hammer, GWT waterproofing test, pH tests, reinforcement detection, resin coating thickness measurement. Specialists will also discuss the interpretation of test results in the context of determining ‘compliance with requirements’ of, for example, completed works.
ADDITIONAL ATTRACTIONS!
Technical demonstrations will be interspersed with freestyle motocross (FMX) performances. These are extremely spectacular stunts on a cross bike in the air. Riders leap from a steel jump 10 metres above the ground with their motorbike and land 20 metres away. During the flight, they perform gymnastic stunts such as standing on the handlebars “cliffhanger” and 360-degree rotations in multiple planes.
In the evening, we will invite you to a barbecue feast, during which there will be a Latin music concert.
Do you want to showcase your equipment or services at a technology show or exhibition? Email or call me. You will certainly benefit from it.
