Andrzej Świątek
A graduate of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture, and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Lodz, he received his master’s degree in Environmental Engineering in 1993. Throughout his career, he has been associated with the water supply and sewage industry.
In 1993-1998 he worked at the Water Supply and Sewerage Plant in Lodz, as a master of the Rainwater Sewerage Network. In 1997, he obtained a sanitary industry executive license.
In 1998-2007, he was associated with Per Aarsleff Polska Sp. z o .o., as Production Department Manager, managing the execution of trenchless renovation of sewer networks, mainly with the CIPP method, but also with Swagelining and Channeline technology.
From 2007 to 2010 at Insituform Sp. z o.o., as Technical Director, he managed the execution activities of the company’s branch in Poland. His main business profile also includes CIPP trenchless renovations, but also GRP modules, and building chemistry repairs.
He has been self-employed since 2010 and continues to be closely involved in the trenchless industry. He supervises projects subsidized by the European Union, implemented according to FIDIC procedures, and cooperates with investor companies such as Ekocentrum Wrocław, BUI Ciechanski Haladaj, and PM Partners, among others.
In 2019-2020, he served as Vice President of the Board of Directors at TAYLOR Sp. z o.o. in Lublin, a company engaged in the construction of water supply and sewerage networks, also in trenchless technology of guided drilling, and where renovations of sewerage networks are also carried out using the SWP spiral wound pipe method.
Since 2021, he has remained affiliated with BLEJKAN S.A., where he is involved in the coordination of execution activities in domestic and foreign markets, as well as the development of new renovation technologies, including the CIPP method for the renovation of water mains.
Unique Calculator for selecting the method and material of trenchless rehabilitation of gravity sewers – operational and performance benefits
A unique tool called “SELECTION CALCULATOR” will be presented https://waterfolder.com/pl/app/renowacja-kanalow/ of CIPP liners for trenchless rehabilitation of existing gravity sewer, combined sewer, and rainwater pipes based on the Polish Atlas of Rainfall Intensities (PANDa) program. The CALCULATOR is intended as a support tool for designers, orderers, and managers of sewer networks. It indicates the benefits of using CIPP liners/sleeves in terms of improved strength and hydraulic conditions. It answers the question of how much the potential catchment area [%] or the number of wastewater customers (p.e.) will increase after rehabilitation. At the same time, the CALCULATOR indicates which materials, with which basic technical parameters, should be used in specific cases.
