Gen. (R.) Prof. Nadzw. Dr Mieczysław Bieniek

Representatives of investors and companies from the trenchless industry were invited to participate in this session. On the basis of his own experience, general Mieczysław Bieniek shows that in the new times of globalization and internationalization one can be an effective leader in extreme/crisis situations. Being repeatedly in combat situations and in areas of extinguishing conflicts and peace forcing, he explains that the use of force is not always an effective method to achieve the final success of an operation. He shows how to build a team and motivate it to the most difficult tasks, even in extreme conditions, how to set goals and make strategic decisions. He advises those making key decisions about the strategies of large organizations /corporations/ multicultural in a long-term perspective, taking into account innovation and dynamic technological progress.
He places particular emphasis on active leadership and management, consequences, self-discipline, and creativity.
