Drilling fluids as a waste – legal challenges and problems

Qualification of drilling fluids as a waste generates numerous legal obligations on the part of entities responsible for its creation. The aim of the paper will be to present the range of obligations that the legislator imposes on these entities, with particular emphasis on the functioning of the Waste Database and having appropriate “waste” administrative decisions.
