Repair of lateral sewers and lateral connections to main sewers

Since the early 2000’s IKT – Institute for Underground Infrastructure in Germany has undertaken a series of projects for sewer network owners to evaluate the performance of sewer lateral repair techniques, with a particular focus on their ability to prevent groundwater ingress. This presentation explains the work, highlights some of the main findings and will show you where to find more information on the results.
