A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology. She also obtained her doctorate at the Warsaw University of Technology. She is a research and teaching staff member at the Institute of Roads and Bridges, in the Department of Bridges, Geotechnics, and Underground Structures, employed as a university professor. She serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Roads and Bridges at the Warsaw University of Technology.
For many years, she has been actively involved in the Underground Construction Subcommittee of the Polish Geotechnical Committee, which she chaired from 2014 to 2020 and currently serves as treasurer. Prof. Mitew-Czajewska is a member of the board of the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES) and a member of the TC204 ISSMGE Committee nominated by PKG. She is also a member of the Scientific Councils of the Road and Bridge Research Institute and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
He runs his own consulting business and is also the exclusive representative of Fine in Poland, the manufacturer of GEO5 geotechnical software.
