Hydrogen transmission network – plans, challenges, ongoing activities

Presentation of information on planned and ongoing activities related to the hydrogen transmission network in the country. The paper will present challenges related both to the construction of new hydrogen transmission infrastructure and to the adaptation of selected parts of the current natural gas transmission network for hydrogen transport.

He has been working for Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. for over 18 years, including 16 years involved in research and development activities in the gas sector. Currently, he holds the position of Deputy Director of the Research and Certification Division. Responsible for initiating and coordinating research and development projects and initiatives. In the past, he was involved in the work of Working Groups of the Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry and in the work of the Gas Transmission Subcommittee of the Polish Committee for Standardisation.

Graduate of the Faculty of Mechatronics at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he obtained a doctoral degree in technical sciences. Author of publications in national and international trade and scientific journals. He completed postgraduate studies in gas engineering, postgraduate studies in management in the oil and gas industry and the Executive MBA programme.
