A civil engineer, manager, and community activist who has been associated with Gdańsk for over 50 years. A graduate of Gdańsk University of Technology, where he completed his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and earned a degree in management. A construction appraiser and expert in infrastructure and housing investments, he is highly regarded for his ability to build effective teams.
His career, spanning over 40 years, includes the implementation of prestigious projects in Pomerania. As president of the EURO Gdańsk 2012 Investment Office, he oversaw the construction of the Arena Bałtycka stadium. Later, as head of Gdańskie Inwestycje Komunalne (2010–2016), he was responsible for key municipal investments worth over 3 billion PLN, including the construction of the Sucharskiego and Słowackiego transportation routes, the tunnel under the Martwa Wisła, and the European Solidarity Center.
Since 2016, as Vice President of NDI SA, he has been responsible, among other things, for the construction of the PKO BP Rotunda in Warsaw, the Vistula Spit canal, the STOS Computer Center for Gdańsk University of Technology, and the facilities for PGZ Stocznia Wojenna as part of the Miecznik program. Since 2023, he has served as Vice President for Business Development.
He is actively involved in professional activities—he served for many years as president of the Polish Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians and was the founder and president of the Pomeranian Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers. He is a member of the Committee on Civil and Water Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Construction Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Council of Gdańsk University of Technology. He supports young engineers by giving lectures and organizing study trips.
Recognizing the challenges associated with corporate social responsibility, he is also active in other social organizations, serving, among other roles, as chairman of the Board of the PZiTB Foundation in Warsaw.
