Geostatistics in practice – on the separation of homogeneous geotechnical layers and filling gaps in soil reconnaissance

Graduate of geology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and civil engineering at Poznań University of Technology. Member of Technical Committee TC-102 (Ground Property Characterization from In-Situ Tests) of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. Member of the Geological and Engineering Documentation Commission at the Ministry of the Environment. Former chairman, currently vice-chairman of the Wielkopolska Branch of the Polish Geotechnical Committee. Co-organizer of the International Workshop on In Situ and Laboratory Soil Characterization. Author of over 80 scientific papers and over 100 expert reports in the field of engineering geology and geotechnics.
