Introduction to TV inspection in sewers
The presentation will initially discuss the following topics:
– CCTV inspection – current status and development trends
– Types of inspection: preventive, diagnostic, receiving monitoring
– Damage classification according to standards e.g. PN-EN 13508-2
– Types of inspection cameras and their applications
– Documentation and analysis of inspection recordings
– Modern technologies in sewer inspection (3D scanners, AI, slope measurement, etc.)
Graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology. Defended his doctoral thesis entitled: ‘Assessment and shaping of sewage pipe structures in terms of reliability theory’ (1999, Institute of Civil Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology). Participated in research internships at universities in Germany (Technische Unversität Dresden and Technische Hochschule in Münster). Currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Building Mechanics and Urban Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology.
He specialises in the topics of technical condition assessment and rehabilitation of water and sewer lines. He is the author and co-author of expert works carried out at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Warsaw and numerous scientific and technical publications, including one compact monograph entitled “The Building Industry. ‘Testing and assessment of the technical condition of sewer lines’. For many years, he has worked with INŻYNIERIA Publishing sp. z o.o. being on the list of reviewers for the journal Trenchless Engineering.
