The paper will present the guidelines for the choice of trenchless methods for rehabilitation of water supply and sewer systems taking into consideration the above criteria and specific land use along the route, the application of a specific trenchless technology for undeveloped areas (e.g. green areas), special areas (such as parks, forests, rivers, water intake zones etc.) and urban areas (e.g. projects completed in cities).
