The paper will focus on the most important changes in the public procurement system, related to the introduction of the 'classical' 2014/24/EU and 2014/25/UE ‘sector’ directives in the national legislation. On May 13, 2016, the Parliament adopted a draft of the amendment to the Public Procurement law. The amendment provides for the simplification of procedures related to the award of public procurement contracts. The changes introduces are intended to eliminate the pathology of the public procurement market, related to reference trading. The draft assumes also the digitalisation of the process of public procurement awards. Also the issue of contract changes will be clarified.
