Simplicity or detailedness? Global theories and solutions concerning the issue of measuring liners for underground pipelines – a review

After getting to know many global theories concerning bearing capacity and stability of the liners, it is valuable to notice a large mismatch of their scale and detailedness. The reasons behind those discrepancies might be the differences in the safety philosophy, characteristic for the different parts of the world (the Anglo-Saxon or German part), that will be presented during the speech.
