The unique to the European scale prize TYTAN, granted by Publishing Company Wydawnictwo INŻYNIERIA sp. z o.o. as well as by votes of the Jury, goes each year to specially distinguishing companies not only from Poland but from the whole Europe.
Within the geoengineering, bridges and underground construction discipline tha award goes to companies since 2006, but it dates back to 2003, when the first prizes within the trenchless technology discipline were granted.
Between 2006–2010 awards in the mentioned categories were presented during International Conference, Exhibition and Technology Shows "Trenchless ENGINEERING” and since 2011 winners have been announced during „GEOENGINEERING in construction” Conference.
From this year the award in the underground construction category will be presented during the 2nd Conference “Underground Construction and Tunnelling”, which will be held in Krakow on 14th and 15th September 2016.
Principles of the prize awarding
Each year, winners in individual categories are selected among the companies nominated to the prize by the Publishing Company Wydawnictwo INŻYNIERIA sp. z o.o., Jury members companies and industry representatives. You can also send an application for the nomination by using the form below.
Condition for acceptance of the application by the Publishing Company Wydawnictwo INÅ»YNIERIA sp. z o.o. is participation of the nominated company’s representative in the Conference. Also, nominated project must be finished by the time the application is being submitted.
Determining of the winner (by max. 3 nominations) within the underground construction field is carried out by voting of the independent Jury. Every member has a point pool at the disposal: 7, 5, 3 that is distributed among nominated companies. Companies having the most points win.
