Inspection of sewer and water supply pipes \u2013 needs and expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n

The wide range of diagnostic methods currently available stands in contrast to the situation encountered in practice, where the resources employed are often insufficient to properly design solutions for pipeline rehabilitation or conduct acceptance testing. At the same time, the opposite situation may arise, where testing is conducted at a cost that is disproportionate to actual needs. In response to these issues, this presentation will explore pipeline diagnostics from the perspective of the needs and expectations of the various parties involved in network maintenance and the technical rehabilitation process.<\/p>\n

A graduate of the Faculty of Civil and Water Engineering at the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology. He defended his doctoral dissertation titled: \u201cEvaluation and Design of Sewer Pipe Structures from the Perspective of Reliability Theory\u201d (1999, Institute of Civil Engineering, Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology). He participated in research internships at universities in Germany (Technische Universit\u00e4t Dresden and Technische Hochschule in M\u00fcnster). Currently an assistant professor in the Department of Structural Mechanics and Municipal Engineering at the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology.
\n<\/em>He specializes in the assessment of the technical condition and rehabilitation of water supply and sewer lines. He is the author and co-author of expert reports prepared at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology, as well as numerous scientific and technical publications, including a monograph titled \u201cResearch and Assessment of the Technical Condition of Sewer Lines.\u201d For many years, he has collaborated with IN\u017bYNIERIA sp. z o.o. Publishing House, serving on the list of reviewers for the journal \u201cTrenchless Engineering.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
