It also addresses issues relating to urban drainage. The presentation will discuss the Directive\u2019s provisions on rainwater and storm water overflows. It will also outline the challenges associated with transposing the new requirements into national legislation.   <\/p>\n<p><em>A graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Krak\u00f3w University of Technology, the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Krak\u00f3w, and the MBA in Public Management programme at the Krak\u00f3w Business School of the University of Economics in Krak\u00f3w. He has been working at Krak\u00f3w Water for 20 years, where he is responsible for managing technological processes at sewage treatment works and water treatment plants, as well as research and development and legal and environmental issues within the water supply and sewerage sector. He currently holds the position of Director of Technology and Innovation at the company.<br \/>\n<\/em><em>As a representative of the \u201cWodoci\u0105gi Polskie\u201d Chamber of Commerce within the European Federation of National Associations of Water Services (EurEau), he takes part in consultations on European and national legislation and policies relating to the water and wastewater sector, and heads the Chamber\u2019s team of wastewater experts. For the past eight years, he has been the chairman of the Galician Waterworks Forum Association.
