It will outline its role in the water management of the Nysa K\u0142odzka and in the flood protection system of the Odra river basin, as well as the benefits of the project, its impact, technical specifications, timetable and current stage of design. <\/p>\n<p><em>Since February 2024, he has served as Deputy Director of the Regional Water Management Authority in Wroc\u0142aw, responsible for flood and drought protection. He holds a Master\u2019s degree in Engineering. He graduated in Environmental Engineering, specialising in Land Reclamation and Environmental Protection, from the Agricultural University of Wroc\u0142aw. He also completed a postgraduate course at the Faculty of Computer Science and Management at Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology in International Investment Organisation Procedures according to FIDIC. He also holds a building licence in the field of structural and civil engineering. He gained professional experience whilst running his own business and working on the construction of hydrotechnical, industrial and general building projects.       <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>He had previously been associated with the Regional Water Management Authority in Wroc\u0142aw, between 2003 and 2018, including as Head of the Investment Preparation and Implementation Department, Head of the Flood Protection Project Implementation Unit in the Odra River Basin (JRP OPDO) and Head of the Flood Protection Project Implementation Unit in the Odra and Vistula River Basins (JRP OPDOW).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the past, he also worked at the Regional Board of Land Reclamation and Water Facilities in Wroc\u0142aw, as well as at Wroc\u0142aw City Council in the Urban Engineering Division of the Urban Infrastructure Department, and as deputy director of the Water and Energy Division within the Sustainable Development Department.
