The presentation \u201cCulture for Water \u2013 Rainwater Retention in Green Roof Systems\u201d demonstrates how modern architectural and engineering solutions can support sustainable water management. The presentation will discuss the functions of retention roofs, their role in mitigating the effects of the \u201cconcrete jungle,\u201d improving the microclimate, and increasing biodiversity in urban spaces. It will emphasize the importance of synergy between architecture, nature, and society in creating cities resilient to climate change. Finally, and most importantly, specific case studies will be presented in which real estate and industrial development projects were successfully implemented under conditions of severely restricted maximum stormwater runoff, thanks to the new \u201cCulture for Water\u201d philosophy.    <\/p>\n<p><em>Green Roofs Manager at Bauder Polska sp. z o.o. He has been involved in the field of green roofs and rainwater retention for 21 years.
