Comparison and evaluation of the cost of rehabilitating water mains using cemented polyurea liner and CIPP cured sleeve methods

Problems in the operation of water mains.
Trenchless methods of rehabilitating water mains by spray methods using cement, polyurea and cured-in-place sleeve – CIPP.
A cost analysis is presented for the rehabilitation of a 300 m DN300 steel pipeline. Pipeline laid in an urban area with high density of infrastructure and high cost of works . The pipeline is 30 to 40 years old.
Costs of technological works were compared with other works during the renovation using cementing methods, polyurea, CIPP sleeve.
Labour costs, main material costs to total material costs, equipment costs for installation to total equipment costs for the renovation methods analysed were compared.
