Spot repairs

Short liner elements made of resin-reinforced textiles are widely used in the spot repairs. The technology of spot repairs is widely available and that makes the renovation both technically and economically optimal. Spot reinforcements and sealing make the renovation less expensive and the time of implementing the solution shorter. The speaker will discuss the spot repair methods that provide the possibility of rehabilitating only the damaged part of a pipeline.

CIPP for pressure pipes - System selection: The first step for a successful rehabilitation

While the CIPP method was originally used only for the rehabilitation of sewer pipes, RTi Rohrtechnik international group has adapted and developed this technique also for use in municipal and industrial pressure pipes since 30 years. Depending on host pipe conditions, static requirements and application areas, different liner systems are available. Every technology has it’s advantages & disadvantages as well as it’s limitations. Only the right choice & knowledge will lead to a good result.

Christian Hartl, Grupa RTi

CIPP liners in waterworks rehabilitation

The first usage of CIPP liners for waterworks rehabilitation happened in the nineties of the 20th century - over 20 years later than in case of the sewers rehabilitation.
During the presentation, there will be discussed the state of the art in terms of CIPP use for the waterworks rehabilitation in Poland and abroad.

He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in national and international magazines including: "Constructions of Sewerage Ducts", "Microtunneling" and "Renovation of water pipes by cementing". In addition, he is the author and the co-author of three patents and a utility model.

1. State of the art solutions in terms of equipment and materials used for waterworks CIPP renovation

Both in Poland and in other European countries, more and more water supply pipelines require renovation. The aim of choosing one renovation method over another is to ensure the safety of construction and provide the smooth delivery of water to customers while maintaining required quality and appropriate pressure. One of the more and more frequently used water pipe renovation technology is CIPP. In his speech, the author will present the latest solutions in the field of devices and materials used for performing CIPP renovations.

2. Implementation of UV-LED „Bluelight” technology in renovation of connections and sewers up to DN300

One of the major problems encountered in connections’ renovation is the necessity of closing them for operation during the renovation works. An additional problem is also the lack of manholes placed between the sewer and the sewer system of the building. The author, in his speech, will discuss the solution that may help in the elimination of those problems: the "Bluelight" technology.
